- In line with this, we bring your attention to the concept of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). RRI is a framework aimed at ensuring that scientific research and technological development processes are conducted with consideration of their societal and environmental impacts. Recognized as a critical component of the EU’s Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes, RRI seeks to foster transparent, inclusive, and ethically sound research practices, thereby enhancing the relevance and acceptability of scientific advancements.
- A great initiative born to facilitate the application of RRI concepts into your work is RRI Tools:

Knowing the Consortium
In the second part of this series of Knowing the Consortium to provide some insights about the institutions participating in our project, we have Sanquin. Sanquin was established in 1998 through a merger between the Dutch blood banks and the Central Laboratory of the Netherlands Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (CLB). On the basis of the Blood Supply Act, Sanquin is the only organization in the Netherlands authorized to manage our need for blood and blood products.
We take advantage of this section to announce the registrations for their 17th European Symposium on Platelet and Granulocyte Immunobiology (ESPGI) that will be organized from 27 to 29 September 2024 are open! 17th ESPGI – Sanquin Academy
